On Thursday it is "Vatertag" again! ...or what we learned from our parents after all :-P.

At least all people who have been in Germany for a while or come from there probably know about this tradition of the "Vatertag".
For those who dont: "vatertag" is a day on which originally just parents got together for a long bike tour through the city with a lot of stops to have drinks in between. It starts around noon and the destination of the tour usually is Barbecue at a restaurant or in a private appartment.

Over the years students adapted this habit as an opportunity to celebrate the long weekend.... so after all we learned at least something from or parents:-P.

Especially since bikes are so popular in the Netherlands anyway I recommend get your friends together and use the weekend to prove your ability to adapt to the values of another culture ;-) ...
