Win tickets for USVA!

USVA and Happy Hour FM will be giving away tickets to several music and dance performances, as well as festivals at USVA!

You will be able to win two tickets here at Happy Hour FM, for (non-dutch spoken!) performances!

All you have to do is send an email to contact@happyhourfm.com, telling us you'd like to be eligible to win the tickets! Don't forget to mention your name and phone number (for verification).

Every week we will draw one lucky winner to win two tickets! To keep things fair, previous winners will not be able to participate again for two months.

Check out the website of USVA for more info and to see what performances there'll be.

Good luck!

The Slits at Vera

Check out cult punk legends The Slits playing tonight at Vera! Doors open at 8pm and tickets are only ten euros on the door with a Vera Maand Card.
Busy tonight? Don't worry, you still have chance to catch them in the Netherlands when they play Utrecht tomorow night.
This is one not to miss!

One hour less sleep!

Don't forget! Tonight at 2AM the clock will go forward one hour to 3AM! This means that you'll have one hour less sleeping time, unfortunately. Be sure not to miss any important appointments or class this Monday!

Writing contest, win €1,000!

For our German listeners / site visitors:

The Groninger Forum is hosting a competetion in order to gather as many stories as possible regarding anything that has to do with "the border between The Netherlands and Germany".

If you're German (or Dutch) and you have an interesting anecedote (for example, about doing your study and living here), send them in to the Groninger Forum and you could win €1,000!

You can also send in stories if you're not from Germany or The Netherlands, but the rules do state that you must submit your story in German or Dutch and it must be related to the topic.

Click this link to read more about the contest and the 'rules of play' in German. (Dutch version)
